Podcast video prices in London: from £500 an episode

We Stream is a London video and photo production company, founded in 2022 by Violetta Coretnic and Vitalii Vakulchuk, that films and edits video podcasts at your office, in a hired studio or on location. One episode from a two-hour session is £1,200, filmed and edited.

The more episodes you record in one session, the less each one costs, because the cameras, lights and sound are set up only once.

How we work

Three ways to run a podcast shoot

Most shows need the whole thing. Some have their own crew or their own editor, and only need part of it. Each photo is from a real recording.

We run the whole shoot

Cameras, lighting, sound and the edit, at your office, a hotel or a hired studio. In this meeting room it was three cameras on the host and guest, a key light and a sound operator on headphones.

We bring the set

No studio needed. Everything in this co-working lounge came with us: the large softbox, the cameras, the stands and the monitors. For one day, the lounge became a set.

When your crew films, we watch the brand

Brand guidelines do not enforce themselves on a shoot day. When a client's marketing lead cannot be on set and another crew or the studio's own team is filming, one of our producers goes instead. The filming is not ours; the producer checks every frame as it is recorded, not after. We did this for Alea's podcast when their marketing lead could not be on set.

Off The Agenda is a multi-award-nominated podcast hosted by Sir Charles Bowman, who spent over three decades at PwC and served as Lord Mayor of London. Guests have included Baroness Patricia Scotland and Baroness Valerie Amos.

Vitalii Vakulchuk operated one of the cameras on the series. Another production company directed and edited it, and published each conversation in full and as short clips.

How much does podcast video production cost in London?

With We Stream, a single filmed and edited episode from a two-hour session at your premises is £1,200. Four episodes filmed in one day are £800 each, and eight short episodes are £500 each. In a hired studio, add a £500 producer fee and the studio at cost.

Why is it cheaper to film several episodes in one day?

The cameras, lights and sound are set up once for the whole session. That is why eight short episodes cost £500 each, against £1,200 for a single one.

Do you have a podcast studio?

We book a hired studio for you, charged at cost plus a £500 producer fee, or bring the full kit to your office, a hotel room or any space that works for the show.

Can you supervise a podcast shoot that another crew is filming?

Yes. A We Stream producer on set costs £400 for a half day or £800 for a full day, checking angles, lighting and framing against your brand guidelines while it is recorded. We did this for Alea when their marketing lead could not be on set.

Can you cut clips from our episodes?

Yes. Clips of 1 to 3 minutes with captions and vertical cutdowns for Reels, TikTok or Shorts are £150 each. An edit pack of one highlight, six clips and six verticals is £1,400.

Can you film only and hand over the raw files?

Yes. Filming only is £250 an hour with a two-hour minimum, £900 for a half day and £1,500 for a full day of up to 8 hours with one operator.

How long does editing take?

Edited episodes are delivered within 7 working days. A rush edit within 48 hours is +£400, and an additional revision round beyond the two included is £100 to £200.

Do you film podcasts outside London?

Yes, across the UK and Europe. Travel outside London is calculated by us and included in your quote, so there is nothing to add later. VAT will be added where applicable.
