We filmed Newsweek’s leadership forum in London - a full day of back-to-back panels, fireside chats, and big conversations. The kind of event where everything runs on a tight schedule, and you don’t really get a second chance to catch a moment if you miss it.
We brought three cameras and a clear plan. Just the two of us, moving quickly but calmly between sessions, checking audio, adjusting angles, anticipating where the good stuff would happen. It’s the kind of setup we’ve done many times now, so there’s a rhythm to it - and we trust each other fully on set, which makes everything smoother.
By the end of the day, we’d captured over seven hours of solid footage. Full coverage of every session, from multiple angles. No gaps. No guesswork. Just clean, organised material ready for post.
We edited each panel as a separate video so the team could share them in full, clip them up, or archive them for future use. Then we cut a fast-paced highlights video - something punchy they could send out straight after the event for press and marketing. That one’s always fun to build - it’s where the mood of the day really comes through.
The client walked away with a proper content package. Not just a memory of what happened, but tools they could actually use. For social, for PR, for internal comms.
That’s always the goal - to hand something over that keeps working long after we’ve packed up and left the venue.
