Who owns these images

Every photograph and video still published on westream.uk is © We Stream Ltd unless it carries a different credit. We Stream Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 17207516.

The default rule

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, edit, crop or redistribute our images without written permission from us. That applies to websites, social media, printed material, presentations and merchandise.

It applies equally to including our images in datasets used to train machine learning or generative AI models. Permission has to be given by us in writing before use, not asked for afterwards.

What you can do without asking

Link to the page an image sits on. Linking never needs permission.

Press and editorial use

If you are writing about We Stream, or about an event or campaign we filmed, get in touch first. We usually say yes. Published images need a visible credit in this form, linking to our site where the format allows:

Work filmed for clients

Most of what you see here was filmed for a client, and those clients hold usage rights under their own agreements with us. An image appearing on this site does not mean it is ours to license to you.

We also cannot license images showing identifiable people, athletes, performers or third-party brands. The people in them agreed to be filmed for a particular client and a particular campaign, not to have their likeness passed on to someone else. For images of that kind the answer is no, and it is not a negotiation.

Asking for permission

Email media@westream.uk with the image, the page you found it on, and where you want to use it. Tell us the format and how long you need it for, and we will come back to you.

Unauthorised use

We keep track of where our work appears. Unauthorised use will be followed up, and we will ask for the image to be taken down or licensed properly.
